Oriental Design
The word “Oriental” refers to the countries of South East Asia, which includes China, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Korea to name a few.
The word “oriental design” is often replaced by the word “Asian design” and is gaining vast popularity across the globe at a very fast pace. The deep cultural reference from countries like Japan and China is the backbone of the elements of oriental designs.
This design uses subtle ornamentation and cultural references to these two countries primarily. It’s a well-known fact that Chinese galleries and art pieces have always and influenced the cultures of all the South Asian countries to a huge extent.
It has become more or less a foundation for the artwork found in this part of the world.
